Beginning Farmers

I’m grateful for the opportunity to have bought this farm with the assistance of the Beginning Farmer Loan Program. It’s the initial step towards realizing my dream of establishing a cattle confinement for a cow/calf operation.

Lowering the barrier for entry is important for the future of farming. My cousin and I were able to purchase about 100 acres through the Beginning Farmer Loan Program. It’s an awesome feeling to be a landowner at such a young age.

I’m thankful that my lender told me about the Beginning Farmer Loan Program. The low interest rate offered through the program has allowed me to fulfill my goal of purchasing land and building equity that I can pass down to my children and grandchildren.
